A sweet, fruity core and a long round finish. Some of Dalwhinnie's complexity is from the water, sourced from Allt an t'Sluie Burn, some is from the traditional worms and the two stills and yet I feel sure that the altitude and weather must also play their part. The young spirit is aged in Ex-Bourbon casks for 15 years before bottling.
