The Kurayoshi Pure Malt Whisky is a boutique Japanese whisky produced by the Kurayoshi distillery. Located in Tottori, a coastal prefecture on southern Honshu, the whiskies produced by the Matsui distillery are characterised by aging with the pure underground waters of Daisen Mountains. The rich aroma and mellow sweetness displayed by the Kurayoshi Pure Malt Whisky is generated by aging in barrels for more than 3 years. A balance of raisin, vanilla and malt are complimented by a gentle mouth heat. Alcohol Vol. 43%

Bowmore is a distillery that produces scotch whisky on the isle of Islay, an island of the Inner Hebrides. The distillery, which lies on the South Eastern shore of Loch Indaal, is one of the oldest in Scotland, and is said to have been established in 1779. Bowmore Distillery sources as much barley as possible from on the island of Islay, however there are insufficient quantities produced to satisfy the distillery's demand, and barley is also imported from the mainland. The distillery retains a traditional floor malting but this also lacks sufficient capacity and the barley imported from the mainland is normally already malted. Classic Islay with gentle peaty aromas and barley flavours intermingled with a little sherry wood and seaside air.
