The most famous of all the Canadian whiskies, Crown Royal is made with over 50 different whiskies, and they’ve been making it for over 70 years. It was first created in 1939 to celebrate the visit of King George VI to Canada. Usually drink alone or with ice, but also used in mixed drinks. It is characterized by aroma with a hint of vanilla and fruit, the flavor is smooth and long lasting. Crown Royal’s perfectly blended whisky has become the standard of excellence for Canadian whisky. Complex yet restrained with depth and a subtle charm. Poached pear, peach, creamy toffee, sweet vanilla and hint of light rye notes, lemon nut and hickory.
