Don Julio Reposado is barrel aged for eight months in American white-oak barrels. Tequila Don Julio Reposado is golden amber in colour and offers a rich, smooth finish - the very essence of the perfect barrel-aged tequila. With a mellow, elegant flavour and inviting aroma, it is best savoured as part of a refreshing drink or chilled on the rocks. Colour: Straw-like. Nose: An inviting aroma of mellow lemon citrus notes and spice layers with touches of ripe stone fruit. Taste: Incredibly soft and elegant hints of dark chocolate, vanilla and light cinnamon. Patron Reposado is aged in oak barrels for over 2 months. It is aged & blended to incorporate the fresh clean taste of Patron Silver with a hint of oak flavour found in Patron Anejo. 1800 tequilas are made by Casa Cuervo from 100% blue agave. The name comes from the "historic event" of aging tequila in oak for the very first time. The line was first launched in 1975 as a premium sipping tequila. 1800 Reserva Reposado tequila is the first of the sipping tequilas launched by Cuervo and called the "original premium tequila."
